Our mission is simple:

To prevent the widespread use of antifreeze as a way of poisoning animals.

Many cats, dogs and wild animals die a horrible slow death each year from antifreeze poisoning - deliberate or otherwise.

Animals find the taste of antifreeze sweet and palatable, so they'll often eat/drink the substance if it's made available, especially by mixing it with food. The results are catastrophic and often fatal.

Sadly, this has made antifreeze an ideal and widely-available way for some heartless people to poison and kill the much-loved pets of their neighbours. It happens every day and it needs to STOP.

A bittering agent (e.g. a Denatonium Benzoate product such as Bitrex) introduced into all commercially available antifreeze will greatly reduce the number of such poisonings.

There is currently no UK legislation forcing manufacturers to routinely add a bittering agent to antifreeze. We want the UK government to draft, vote upon and enact legislation preventing the sale of any antifreeze products without a bittering additive.
